One's "reality" is simply their unique perspective. Any situation is like a beachball: based on where I'm standing, the beachball may appear yellow to me. Another person might look at the same beachball and see it as red. My senses and my experience tell me that beachball is yellow, but this other person is saying it's red, therefore I'm right and he's wrong. Instead, allow for the possibility that we may BOTH be right: open yourself up to the context of the bigger picture.
